Finished shawl
It’s finished, even without Clive’s additional help.

It’s actually prettier in person. I left off the fringe and the last repeat of the pattern because it was getting too long for my short-waisted, 5′ 3″ frame. It’s so very, very soft! (And non-woolish! Hurray!)
Triangle shawl
I was in a knitting frenzy this weekend. I’m trying to get some sort of wrap or shawl done to take with me to Ukraine (I leave on the 15th!) and the yarn for Clapotis definitely won’t be in enough in advance. I do, however, have three skeins of Lion Brand Homespun (hush with the “ewww!”, yarn snobs … I’m allergic to wool) that need to be out of my stash and into a project.
I didn’t like most of the poncho or capelet patterns that I could find, so I went looking for shawls instead. I found this triangle shawl pattern at the Lion Brand website. I think it will be without the fringe, thanks so much.
