Scarf Done
I knit this scarf for a friend for Christmas - Goes perfectly with her purple and green coat. Used Noro yarn, and it is just SO cool. Yay!
Afghan Complete!
I made an afghan for my grandparents for Christmas. I finally got the dog to get off of it so that I could take a photo.
One periwinkle scarf …
… is finished!
I thought about adding a fringe using a really skinny matching ribbon but I don’t know if it would add anything to the scarf. Hmm.
Now on the needles: a hot pink eyelet wrap thingie for a friend. Next on the needles: probably a really long skinny scarf for my brother, or maybe one of those tube-type scarves. The yarn is Adrienne Vittadini “Sara”, military green, and I have approx. 250 grams of it. (Which I got for a steal at the scrapbook store’s going out of business sale.) Suggestions? Where do I find something a little bit punk but fast to knit up for my 16-year-old brother?
I DID IT!
The first time I ever sewed, and I did not sew my fingers!!!
New Scarves
I made a couple of scarves for Christmas. The first one here is going to be for my mother. Please don’t ask me the yarn I used… I forgot already! Anyway, no wool so she does not itch, and it even has sparkles!
This one was for my sister, but I think it matches my new coat better. So I am making her another one.
