Scratch that one, start this one.
Okay, so this blanket started pissing me off royally. That’s not exactly the attitude I want going into a baby’s blanket so I decided to frog the whole thing and start over. I’d made so many mistakes, switched knitting styles without realizing it, and knit two complete rows incorrectly, throwing off the diagonal pattern. Add in a new pattern that I wanted to try and you get lots of good rationalization for a new project.
After frogging and winding the yarn into a new ball, I started this new afghan. It’s knit holding two strands together. These strands are ivory and white, so there’s not much difference in color, but there is enough to give it some variation and depth. I LOVE how soft this is becoming. It’s the Caron Simply Soft Baby Sport yarn, I think. Size 13 bamboo circulars, if you care, and after the border it switches to size 15 circs.
So far I’m just in the seed stitch border, but I’m enjoying this. Soft! Fluffy! Pretty!
