Our next baby gets …
This lovely ivory blanket! I’m thinking this will be the blanket I give to my friend Emily but can’t decide yet. It’ll depend on what gender the baby is and whether that inspires me to get all crazy cute with something.
This blanket is pretty simple, as you can see by the detail shot. The only problem I’ve had with this blanket has been remembering to do the yarn over occasionally. I’ve botched it in a few places where I have one too few or too many stitches. I also can’t tell what the difference is between SSK and K2tog, so I might be doing something wrong. I am able to tell, though, that I really do knit incorrectly. The borders of the blanket are K4 on each row (at each end), and I can see my stitches twisting. Nuts.
