Our next baby gets …
This lovely ivory blanket! I’m thinking this will be the blanket I give to my friend Emily but can’t decide yet. It’ll depend on what gender the baby is and whether that inspires me to get all crazy cute with something.
SEI Fool
The gals went cropping at Scrappy’s Friday night, then Erin and I went to the Whorehouse (as we like to call it) on Saturday afternoon to work some more. Sad thing is that I think I might actually do more scrapping today. What a nut?!?!
Anyway, I think I have mentioned before that I am making a book based on my sister’s wedding last month with just SEI paper. So far, I am really enjoying it. The only problem that I am having is that I cannot make the damn letter stickers straight!
I am uploading some of the pages that I was able to make yesterday…

New Hobby
So, Al has flipped out completely and embrassed her inner Martha. The pre-criminal Martha, of course!
Either Martha or that creepy chick on PBS who teaches people how to quilt.
Anyway, here are my 6 dresses I made.

Circle Jerk
My Circle Journal is not as cool as Erin’s (yet…), but I am working on it. My theme is going to be “Your Favorite Pet.” If people have never had a pet in their life, I am going to ask them to tell me about their favorite animal.
Erin and I also found out something pretty cool at the Scrapbook Club the other night. If you buy Ziploc 2 1/2 gallon bags, you can fit your 12×12 paper in them. I have decided to buy quite a few and start organize by color, theme, etc. Here is what I spent a few hours doing yesterday:
I went to “the Wal-Marts” and bought a bin to put everything in. So far, I really like it. Especially since I have not been able to find things I have bought lately for projects like my sister’s wedding, Snooplahoma, etc. This way, I have it all set.
(Did you notice one of my bags was entitled “Drinks?”)
Scrapbook club: Circle Journals
Adelle and I joined the club at Scrappy’s (yeah, I realize this brings new light to the level of our addiction) and last night was the first meeting of the new club session. Each session lasts six months, and this session there’s a special project to get to know people better. Everyone is supposed to make a “Circle Journal” that has a theme. You journal about your answer to the theme and then every month it gets passed around to someone else … kind of like the memory book thing, only smaller.
So I got all fired up and made mine at the club meeting last night!
Scarf Time
I finished the socks for Sharon. What is really sad is that the second one has a different stitch than the first one, so they look a little different. Oh well… not like she is going to wear them out or anything…
So now I am making a kid’s scarf with my 35 cent ball of yarn:
This is really nice mohair yarn… Maybe a little scratchy, but this scarf is more for accessorizing than anything.
