The Scarborough Parade

More pictures from the Renaissance Faire album that we’re making for Marsha. I would’ve added these to Karen’s site but I forgot my password. C’est la vie!

There are so many more snaps of the pages to come (these are just the parade pages) … but the book has been finished and presented! yay!!

I Used a Tag…

I hope Erin does not get mad at me… but I used a tag this weekend on my scrapbook. Just seemed cute, since it went with the Dallas Arboretum photos:

Arboretum Tag

I have also been doing quite a bit with the lettering illustrated in my new book. Shoot, forgot the name, but here is a sample:

Flowers

And I also decided to use pop dots with my mosaics. I think this one looked really cool!

Mosaic with Pop Dots

And I also worked on this one… was a bit harder since the mosaic had too much space inbetween:

Arboretum Photos

I added my arboretum photos to my scrapbook. I think I did a total of 11 pages this weekend. And I thoroughly enjoyed it! Here is my favorite, though. Great for blackmailing!

Tiara Queens

I also did my first couple of mosaic photos. Here is one:

Since there were so many photos, I just uploaded them to my site… Visit the May 17th Weekend Scrapbook Page!

So hard at work.

Yay, Maria! Now we just have to set HER up with access to this blog …

So here’s what I was working on. Yes, even more baby pictures. My friends just keep having kids, so there you go!

The last page from Chloe’s birthday … I drew a border at the top, used some of my new paper for matting, and there you have it!

Beach and Cat

Today has been pretty icky all ’round, so here’s something cute to look at. (yes, I’m biased.)

First we have the page I just did of going to the beach with my sister last summer. Notice that I forgot to get two “H”s cut out. Yes, I’m that smart, too.

Then we have another one featuring my main man Clive. Darling, yes? Obviously I’m starting to get interested in better lettering (still hand-lettered on Clive’s page) and the background paper. Whee! The craziness never ends!

I need to get a life…

Yes, I scrapped more today. I figured that if I am spending this much darn money DAILY that I need to do something with it!!!

Here is the page I did last night at the Scrapbook club. Kasey just loves her kong filled with Peanut Butter!

Adelle's dog rules!

Tonite I worked on pictures from Easter…

I did it!!

I finally sewed something with my new sewing machine! (And no, it was not paper like scrapbooking overachievers — kidding! — do.)

Sewing before 8 a.m.

I woke up way too early on Saturday and decided to pull out the sewing machine. I’d bought a cute fabric remnant at Wal-Mart so I could play and also get the machine de-greased from the factory oiling. The fabric was a 21″ rectangle … evenly cut, lightweight, etc.

I’d had this idea about making a pillow for the cats — with a twist.
